Songs Part 1

I am utterly and completely spooked by the troubles I've been having with this blog lately. I'm especially disheartened because a lot of the songs I had picked out are from the Minnesota Public Radio podcast blog, and as I stated before, I'm almost certain the DMCA takedown notice was for a song that I was linking to from the Minnesota Public Radio website. If there was ever a more "on the up and up" source than MPR, I don't know what it would be.

Anyhoos, I'm going to go ahead and feature those songs, but I'm going to change the way I do this blog a little. I'm going to try to keep each blog post to one band, so that if I get another notice, there will be no doubt which song it's for. Also, I'm not going to direct link as much. I put the download links directly on my blog so that you can utilize the handy little player I have on my website. But, I'm thinking that makes me more vulnerable. So, unless a song is actually on the artist's website, label's website or a promotional company, then I won't direct link.

Anyhoos, that's the what now. Also, my podcasting service is experiencing difficulties, so I can't upload my podcast. Hopefully the service will be functioning tomorrow.
