Pearl Jam 20

Pearl Jam 20, the soundtrack to the new Cameron Crowe documentary, can be streamed in its entirety (or song by song) at AOL Spinner.  20 years ago I used to make fun of his strained voice in "Alive". It didn't take long for me to see the Vedder appeal. Maybe it's because his name sounds so much like Vader.

Nouvelle Vague, "Blister in the Sun"

I've put this band on my blog before. Their version of "Blister in the Sun" is in the movie Bridesmaids (though I'm not sure that this version is the same as in the movie.
